Launching Simcenter 3D or NX from Teamcenter

You can configure which application is launched by the Open in NX command using the following Teamcenter preferences.

• TC_NX_ApplicationsYou may need to add Simcenter 3D to the list.

• TC_NX_Current_ApplicationSets the default application. You can set any application defined in the TC_NX_Applications preference.

• AWC_NX_ApplicationAndEnvironmentIsSupportedEnables Active Workspace to support the selection of environment and application. Set to TRUE.

In the Teamcenter rich client User Settings dialog box, you can select the application from the Client Application list.

You can start Simcenter 3D or NX from the Teamcenter rich client, by selecting the dataset and clicking Start/Open in NX on the toolbar, or by double-clicking the dataset.

You can start Simcenter 3D or NX from Active Workspace, by selecting the item revision or dataset, clicking Open , and then selecting Open in NX.
