Import Zones dialog box

Import Settings
Select 2D Objects	Lets you select the meshed polygon faces or 2D elements onto which you want to import the zones. The zones must point to a Fibersim laminate that is associated to the same part geometry that is meshed in this software.
Search Distance	Specifies the search distance that the software uses to match the imported zone boundaries with the Pre/Post 2D mesh elements. Click Automatic Search Distance to have the software compute the search distance as half of the root mean square of the selected element length.
Fibersim HDF5 Zones
Select Fibersim HDF5 File	Sets the file that contains the zones to be imported. Click Browse to navigate to the location of the file that you want to import.
Options
Import Materials	Imports Fibersim materials along with their properties. The software sets the imported material Category to FIBERSIM.
Overwrite Materials	Replaces existing Fibersim materials in Pre/Post with the imported ones.
Overwrite Laminate Properties	Replaces existing laminate physical properties in Pre/Post with the imported ones.
Overwrite Collectors	Reevaluates and possibly overwrites the existing Pre/Post collectors.If you clear this check box, the software creates new collectors for each zone even if these collectors already exist from a previous import.
Import Boundaries	Imports curves (blue lines) that represent the zone boundaries.
Preview
Show Result	Creates one mesh and one mesh collector for each zone and one laminate physical property for each Fibersim laminate specification. Each mesh collector points to one of the created laminate physical properties. The software moves elements from the existing Pre/Post meshes into the newly created meshes. The existing Pre/Post meshes are empty after the import.Click Undo Result to undo the import and make more modifications to the import options.
