Analyzing vibro-acoustic contribution data (Noise and Vibration)
After solving a Simcenter 3D Noise and Vibration vibro-acoustic model, you can analyze the panel contribution data and modal contribution data using the Scenario Based Data-Visualization navigator.
You can plot results for a particular subcase, type, or degree of freedom for all contribution data.
Analyzing contribution data
You can request the following types of contribution result:
Panel contributions
Available in both the Modal Acoustic Transfer Vector (MATV) Response and Acoustic Transfer Vector (ATV) Response solutions.Panel contributions express the contribution of a given vibrating structural panel (the sum of all its nodes) to the pressure response at a given microphone node. Panels must be part of the fluid-structure interface. You can request this contribution with the Panel Contributions to Acoustic Pressure check box in the Properties group of the MATV Vibro-Acoustic Output Requests or ATV Vibro-Acoustic Output Requestsdialog box.
Structural modal contributions
Available only in the Modal Acoustic Transfer Vector (MATV) Response solution.Structural modal contributions express the contribution of a given structural mode to the response at a given microphone node. You can request this contribution with the Structural Modal Contributions to Acoustic Pressure check box in the Properties group of the MATV Vibro-Acoustic Output Requests dialog box.
MATV contributions
Available only in the Modal Acoustic Transfer Vector (MATV) Response solution.MATV contributions express the contribution of a given MATV to the response at a given microphone node. You can request this contribution with the Modal Acoustic Transfer Vectors check box in the Properties group of the MATV Vibro-Acoustic Output Requests dialog box.
