Update mode pairs

  1. In the Simulation Navigator, right-click the Mode Pairing node and select Edit.

  2. In the Mode Pairing Control dialog box, in the Automatic Pairing group, from the Method list, select a method for the automatic pairing of reference and work normal modes.

  3. From the Master list, specify which modes are the master modes.This is only required if you selected by Frequency or by MAC from the Method list.

  4. Depending on the pairing method you selected, in the Filters group, set the following: (Method=by Frequency) In the Frequency Tolerance (Hz) or Frequency Tolerance (%) box, enter the frequency tolerance in Hz or in percentage. (Method =by MAC) In the Minimum MAC box, enter a value between zero and one to specify the minimum MAC value used for the pairing.

  5. (Optional) Select the Track Pairs Only check box to display only paired modes.

  6. (Optional) In the Manual Pairing group, specify the Reference Mode ID and Work Mode ID to manually pair the modes.

  7. Click OK.
