Merge adjacent faces

Merge adjacent faces manually

  1. Click Merge Face .

  2. In the Merge Face dialog box, select Edge Based from the Type list.

  3. Click Select Object to select the polygon edge between the two adjacent faces that you want to merge.

  4. Select or clear the Auto Remove Vertices check box to control whether the software automatically removes associated vertices when you remove an edge between two faces.

  5. Click OK or Apply.

  1. Click Merge Face .

  2. In the Merge Face dialog box, select Face/Body Based from the Type list.

  3. Click Select Object to select the polygon faces or the polygon body that contains the faces that you want the software to evaluate.

  4. Select or clear the Auto Remove Vertices check box to control whether the software automatically removes associated vertices when you remove an edge between two faces.

  5. Specify the maximum Edge Angle and Vertex Angle in degrees.

  6. Click OK or Apply.
