Post-Processing Macro dialog box (Simcenter Samcef)

Type
Type	Specifies the type of macro: Macro Element for Elements or Macro Element for Faces/Edges.
Name
Name	Sets the name of the macro that appears in the Simulation Navigator under the Simulation Objects Container node.
Description	Sets the description.
Destination Folder
Simulation Objects Container	Specifies the folder in the Simulation Navigator in which the macro will be stored. The list includes the root container and existing folders that you created using the New Folder command.
Faces/Edges
Appears when Type is set to Macro Element for Faces/Edges.
Faces/Edges	Lets you select the target elements faces or edges.
Elements
Appears when Type is set to Macro Element for Elements.
Elements	Lets you select the target elements.
Properties
Appears when Type is set to Macro Element for Elements.
Position (FACE)	Lets you select the top or the bottom of the support.Note: If membranes are selected:You can use the Top of the Support or the Bottom of the Support to create a macro only for the top or bottom of the membranes.You can use the n/a choice to create a macro for the membranes themselves (without promoting the top or the bottom) and therefore to compute global results over the membranes thickness.Note: If solids are selected:Use the n/a choice to create a macro for the solids and to compute global results over the solids thickness.The Top of the Support or the Bottom of the Support choices are useless.
Results List
Results Selection for Group of Elements	Appears when Type is set to Macro Element for Elements.Lets you create or select a Results for Macro Element for Elements modeling object.In this modeling object, you can select the results you want to output on the target elements.
Results Selection for Node	Appears when Type is set to Macro Element for Elements.Lets you create or select a Results for Macro Element for Node modelling object.In this modelling object, you can select the results you want to output on the macro's node.
Results Selection for Group of Faces	Appears when Type is set to Macro Element for Faces/Edges.Lets you create or select a Results for Macro Element for Faces modeling object.In this modeling object, you can select the results you want to output on the target faces/edges of elements.
Advanced
Thermo-couple	Select this check box if the macro's node has to act as a thermocouple.For more information, see the THCP parameter of the Samcef Macro element.
Position
Position	Appears when the Thermo-couple check box is selected.Defines the macro position in the model.
