Correlation Input dialog box

| Name | Sets the correlation input name. |

| Vibration input list | Lists the vibration inputs, which can be correlated, by name, the node ID and DOF where the vibration input is applied, and its ordinate measure. When you select a vibration input from the list, the software lists all the possible vibration inputs that can be correlated with the selected one in the To DOF group. |

| Vibration input list | Lists all the possible vibration inputs that can be paired with the vibration input that you selected in the From DOF group.For each vibration input, the list displays its name, the node ID and DOF where the vibration input is applied, and its measure. |
| Function | |
| Function | Lets you select or create a cross spectral density (CSD) function that defines the similarity and dependency between the two vibration inputs you selected in the From DOF and To DOF groups. For example, if the selected vibration inputs are load functions, the correlation function defines the dependencies between the loads.Choose Functions →Function Manager to use the XY Function Manager dialog box to select or create a CSD function.In the XY Function Manager dialog box, you can select from a list of CSD functions that are filtered to display only the functions with the same ordinate measure as the selected vibration input pair. If you select two vibration inputs with different measures in the From DOF and To DOF groups, the list of CSD functions is filtered to display only the functions that have two measures, which match those of the selected vibration inputs. For example, if you select two vibration inputs with displacement and velocity measures in the From DOF and To DOF groups, you must create or select a CSD function for which Numerator Measure and 2nd Numerator Measure are set to displacement and velocity. |
