Load Set (General) (Simcenter Samcef)
A Load Set (General) is a container for structural or enforced motion loads that you can apply to a Linear Transient Response Analysis or a Linear Harmonic Response Analysis.
To use the load set in a solution, you must add the load set to a Transient Excitation Set or Frequency Excitation Set, which you then add to a subcase in the appropriate dynamic response analysis. If you add a load set directly to a subcase in a dynamic response analysis, the solver does not use the load set.
Note:
The load set can contain all load types except for Bolt Preload and Temperature Load.
Creating and assigning load sets
You can create or assign a load set in the dialog box where you create the excitation set, or you can create the load set separately and assign it to the excitation set later.
You can assign only one load set to an excitation set.
You can reuse a load set by assigning it to multiple excitation sets. This allows you to try the same loads with different excitation functions.
You can create several load sets to assign to the same excitation set to test different loads with the same excitation function.
To assign a load set to an excitation set, drag it to the excitation set. If the excitation set contains a load set, you are prompted to replace it.
