Editing load case filtering calculations

Calculations in load case filtering solutions are editable. You can edit calculations from the Simulation Navigator.

All of the parameters for a calculation are editable except the method and, if present, an annotation. Thus, you can change the load case set for the calculation, the FE or geometric entities from which the software obtains the results for the calculation, the type of results to use in the calculation, values for material properties, and so on. After you edit a calculation, you must solve it in order for the load case filtering result to account for the changes that you made to the calculation.

Note:

To change the FE or geometric entity selection, use the Delete select source option to remove the original selection.

When you edit the FE or geometric entities from which the software extracts the values for the load case filtering calculation, and the calculation is annotated, the annotation does not update to reflect the new extraction sites. To update the annotation for the calculation, use the Relocate command. When you use the Relocate command, the software moves the terminating point of the leader line for the annotation to the new extraction site.
