Define an automatic coupling

  1. Click Automatic Coupling .

  2. Click Independent to select the independent node or vertex.

  3. Click Dependent to select the dependent node or vertex.

  4. (Optional) Click Independent Face/Edge to select the independent face or edge along which the software should search for valid independent nodes.

  5. Specify the reference coordinate system.

  6. Specify the Node Match Tolerance.

  7. Use the Degrees of Freedom options to specify which degrees-of-freedom to couple.
