Physical Property Table
Name Sets the name of the physical property table.
Label Sets a unique numerical identifier. The number is incremented automatically for the next physical property you create.
Type of Bush
Type of Bush Specifies the type of bush:ClassicalSelect a bush in a Cartesian coordinate system.RadialSelect a cylindrical bush. The axis of rotation is the bush's Z-axis.

Linear Laws

Use this tab to define the bush's linear properties.

Stiffness
X TranslationY TranslationZ Translation Appear when Type of Bush is set to Classical.Lets you define the stiffnesses in translation in the bush's Cartesian coordinate system. For more information, see the KTX, KTY, KTZ parameters of the Samcef BUSH element definition.
X Rotation per RadianY Rotation per RadianZ Rotation per Radian Appear when Type of Bush is set to Classical.Lets you define the stiffnesses in rotation in the bush's Cartesian coordinate system. For more information, see the KRX, KRY, KRZ parameters of the Samcef BUSH element definition.
X Translation****Z Translation Appear when Type of Bush is set to Radial.Lets you define the stiffnesses in translation in the bush's cylindrical coordinate system. For more information, see the KTR, KTZ parameters of the Samcef BUSH element definition.
X Rotation per Radian****Z Rotation per Radian Appear when Type of Bush is set to Radial.Lets you define the stiffnesses in rotation in the bush's cylindrical coordinate system. For more information, see the KRR, KRZ parameters of the Samcef BUSH element definition.
Viscous Damping
X TranslationY TranslationZ Translation Appear when Type of Bush is set to Classical.Lets you define the viscous damping in translation in the bush's Cartesian coordinate system. For more information, see the CTX, CTY, CTZ parameters of the Samcef BUSH element definition.
X Rotation per RadianY Rotation per RadianZ Rotation per Radian Appear when Type of Bush is set to Classical.Lets you define the viscous damping in rotation in the bush's Cartesian coordinate system. For more information, see the CRX, CRY, CRZ parameters of the Samcef BUSH element definition.
X Translation****Z Translation Appear when Type of Bush is set to Radial.Lets you define the viscous damping in translation in the bush's cylindrical coordinate system. For more information, see the CTR, CTZ parameters of the Samcef BUSH element definition.
X Rotation per Radian****Z Rotation per Radian Appear when Type of Bush is set to Radial.Lets you define the viscous damping in rotation in the bush's cylindrical coordinate system. For more information, see the CRR, CRZ parameters of the Samcef BUSH element definition.

Nonlinear Laws

Use this tab to define the bush's nonlinear properties. You define the same properties as the linear law properties, but you use table fields to define the nonlinear laws attached to these properties.

Stiffness
Stiffnesses in translation You define force versus length laws. For more information, see the FETX, FETY, FETZ, FETR parameters of the Samcef BUSH element definition.
Stiffnesses in rotation You define moment versus angle laws. For more information, see the FERX, FERY, FERZ, FERR parameters of the Samcef BUSH element definition.
Viscous Damping
Viscous damping in translation You define force versus velocity laws. For more information, see the FATX, FATY, FATZ, FATR parameters of the Samcef BUSH element definition.
Viscous damping in rotation You define moment versus angular velocity laws. For more information, see the FARX, FARY, FARZ, FARR parameters of the Samcef BUSH element definition.

Rupture with Damage

Ellipsoid Criterion
**Criterion 1st Force Value (FRUX-FRUR)****Criterion 2nd Force Value (FRUY)****Criterion 3rd Force Value (FRUZ)****Criterion 1st Moment Value (MRUX-MRUR)****Criterion 2nd Moment Value (MRUY)**Criterion 3rd Moment Value (MRUZ) Lets you define the forces and moments values of the ellipsoid criterion. For more information, see the FRUX, FRUY, FRUZ, FRUR and MRUXX, MRUY, MRUZ, MRUR parameters of the Samcef BUSH element definition.
Damage Values
**Parameter for Delay (ADEL)**Time for Delay (TAU) Lets you define the 2 parameters that drive the time delay effect law. If TAU is zero, there is no time delay effect.
Maximum Damage Value (DDEN) Lets you define the maximum damage value.

For more details, see the Rupture with Damage paragraph in the Samcef bush element online help.
