Load Case Combine dialog box
| Combined Load Cases | |

| Displays all of the combined load cases. To more easily view a long list of combined load cases that contain several subcases, choose Export to Browser. A separate window opens that you can size as necessary. To refresh the list, close the window and use the Export to Browser command again.To change a Combined Load Case name or a Scale factor, click in the corresponding cell, type the new name or number, and press Enter. For more information, see Modify combined load cases in a dialog box.To make global changes to a long list of combined load cases, update the combined load cases in a spreadsheet or text editor. For more information, see Modify combined load cases in a spreadsheet or text editor. | |
| Combined Load Case Name | Sets the name for the combined load case that you are creating.Click Create after you type the name. |
| Create | Adds the combined load case name to the Combined Load Cases list. When the name appears in the list, you can add subcases to it. |
| Delete | Available when you select a combined load case in the Combined Load Cases list.Deletes the selected combined load case. |
| Combined Load Case Components | |
| Filter | Dynamically filters the list of subcases.To filter the list, type all or part of the subcase name. The list updates as you type.To return to the original list of subcases, delete any characters from the box. |
| Subcases list | Lists the subcases in the solution from which you selected the Combined Loadcases command. |
| Scale | Sets the scaling factor for the load cases. You can set a different scale for each load case.Tip: When creating your model, specify a load with a unit value. Then scale the result to the actual applied value. Create multiple combined load cases for the same subcase, applying a different scale factor to each.To subtract one load case from another, use a negative scale factor. |
| Add | Available when you select a subcase in the Combined Load Case Components list that is not yet added to the selected combined load case in the Combined Load Cases list.Adds the selected subcase and the specified scale to the combined load case that you selected in the Combined Load Cases list. |
| Remove | Available when you select a subcase in the Combined Load Case Components list that already exists in the selected combined load case in the Combined Load Case Components list.Removes the selected subcase and its scale factor from the selected combined load case. |
