Enforced acceleration constraint (Simcenter Samcef)

An Enforced Acceleration applies a known acceleration to geometry or FE entities.

From the Type list, select:

  • Magnitude and Direction to define the constraint with a magnitude and a direction.

  • Component to define the constraint on individual degree of freedom.

  • Normal to define the constraint normal to a selection.

  • Translational Components - Field to define the constraint by specifying a table field (for translational degrees of freedom only).

This constraint creates Samcef .CLM ACC NOEUD - V - C - commands in the solver input file.

The Enforced Acceleration can only be used if you solve a Samcef structural Non Linear Static solution with an active subcase of the Dynamic analysis type.

Where do I find it?
