Transient Parameters dialog box (ANSYS)

Properties
Description Lets you specify an optional description for the modeling object.
Time at End of Time Step (TIME) Sets the time at the end of the time step.
Automatic Time Stepping (AUTOTS) Specifies whether to use automatic time stepping.OnANSYS uses both time step prediction and time step bisection.OffANSYS does not use automatic time stepping.
Transient Time Table (TSRES) Available when Automatic Time Stepping (AUTOTS) is set to On.Lets you specify the appropriate Transient Time Table modeling object that defines an array of times at which the time-stepping strategy changes.Select an existing modeling object from the list or click Create Modeling Object to create a new one.Click Modify Selected to edit the selected modeling object
Time Increment Option Controls how ANSYS increments the time within the step.**Time Step Size (DELTIM)**Specifies the time step sizes to use in the step.**Number of Substep (NSUBSTP)**Specifies the number of substeps within the step.
DELTIMAvailable when Time Increment Option is set to Time Step Size (DELTIM)
Time Step Size (DTIME) Specifies the size of the time step.
Minimum Time Step Size (DTMIN) Specifies the minimum size of the time step.
Maximum Time Step Size (DTMAX) Specifies the maximum size of the time step.
NSUBSTPAvailable when Time Increment Option is set to Number of Substep (NSUBSTP)
Number of Substep (NSUBSTP) Sets the number of substeps to be use within the step. This controls, for example, the time step size or frequency increment.
Minimum Number of Substeps (NSUBMIN) Sets the minimum number of substeps in the step.
Maximum Number of Substeps ( Sets the maximum number of substeps in the step.
