Submit solution to Simcenter Nastran

Before you submit the job to Simcenter Nastran, you must do the following:

1. Meet the prerequisites as explained in Prerequisites for a solution to use a UMAT model.

2. Set the path to the subroutine in the Shared Library for User Defined Materials section in the Solver Parameters dialog box.

When you submit the job the software adds the user-defined material (UMAT) bulk entries to the solver input file.

The UMAT bulk entries trigger Simcenter Nastran to call the Simcenter Nastran UMAT subroutine.
