Enforced Velocity Constraint dialog box (ANSYS)

Destination Folder
Constraint Container Specifies the folder in the Simulation Navigator in which the boundary condition is stored. The list includes the root container and existing folders that you created using the New Folder command. Examples of a root container include Load Container, Constraint Container, and Simulation Object Container.
Folder Manager Displays a hierarchical list of existing folders. To create a new folder, right-click any level of the hierarchy and choose New Folder.
Model Objects
Group Reference Lets you apply the constraint to a group. For more information, see Group Reference options.
Select Object Lets you select the geometry to apply the constraint to. ExcludedLets you remove individual entities from within the selected object.
Stacked Smart Selector Methods Opens the Smart Selector Methods dialog box where you can specify a progression of smart selection filters. For more information, see Smart Selector Methods dialog box.
Direction
Velocity CSYS Selects the coordinate system used to apply the constraint.Existing uses the displacement coordinate system currently defined for the selected node(s) or associated geometry.Cartesian lets you specify a local coordinate system to use.
Local Available if you set Velocity CSYS to Cartesian.Lets you create or select a local coordinate system. For more information, see CSYS dialog box.
Degrees of freedom
DOF4 through DOF6 Appears when Type is set to Component.Defines the magnitude of the velocity constraint for each of the DOF.For more information, see Additional magnitude options.
Card Name Displays the name of the solver card for the constraint.
