Create multiple contact step controls (Abaqus)
When defining a solution, you can set up multiple Abaqus Contact Step Control Parameters modeling objects to control the contact pairs in a solution step.
In the Solution Step dialog box, click the Control Parameters tab.
From the Controls Options list, select Apply Specific Controls.
Clear the Single Contact Control check box.
To create the modeling objects to include in the step, click Create and complete the Contact Step Control Parameters dialog box and click OK.For example, to select a specific contact pair, select the Apply Controls to a Specific Contact Pair and in the Master Surface and Slave Surface boxes, select or create the master and slave surfaces to control.
In the Modeling Object Manager, select a modeling object in the Selection list and click Add New to add it to the List of objects to be included in the solution step.
Click Close.
Click OK.
