Import an LMS test solution

You import a Simcenter Testlab test solution for a correlation or model update solution process to an existing Simulation file, which contains a structural analysis solution.

You can exchange Simcenter Testlab data using the heritage UNV file format independently of the Simcenter Testlab version.

1. Choose Correlation tab→Correlation group→Test Reference .

2. In the Solution group, from the Solver list, select Modal Test Data.

3. Click Create Solution.

4. In the Geometry Source group, from the Geometry Source list, select Test Model.

5. From the Test Model list, select the desired test model.

6. In the Correlation Data Source group, in the Input File box, type the path and name of the Simcenter Testlab file.The LMS file can contain the geometry, mode shape, and FRF data.

7. From the Source list, select the mode set to import if the Simcenter Testlab file contains multiple mode sets.

8. In the Filter Result Types group, select Ignore Mode Shape Data check box for an FRF correlation solution process.

9. Click OK.
