Table Data Import dialog box

| Browse | Sets the name and location of the text file that contains the tabular data. Type a path and file name or click Browse to browse to the location. |
| Imported Ordered Data as Parametric Line | Appears when the independent domain of the parent table field contains a single variable.Select to import ordered tabular data as a parametric line.For more information, see Importing ordered or structured tabular data from a text file. |
| Imported Data is in Structured Data Format | Appears when the independent domain of the parent table field contains two or three variables.Select to import structured tabular data.For more information, see Importing ordered or structured tabular data from a text file. |

| Duplicate Values | Available when the selected text file contains duplicate data.Defines the value that the software uses for the dependent variable when duplicate values are present.Not AllowedThe software issues an error message if duplicate values are present.AverageUse the arithmetic mean of the duplicate values.MinUse the algebraic minimum of the duplicate values.MaxUse the algebraic maximum of the duplicate values.FirstUse the first duplicate value listed in the tabular data.LastUse the last duplicate value listed in the tabular data.SkipDo not use the data points where duplicate values occur. |
| Re-Scan Input File | Click to refresh the imported data after you select a different text file or after you edit the selected text file. The values in the dialog box refresh. |
| Number of Structured Data Rows | Sets the number of rows in the row-column structured tabular data for two independent variables or sets the number of rows in each layer of row-column structured tabular data for three independent variables. |
| Number of Structured Data Columns | Sets the number of columns in the row-column structured tabular data for two independent variables or sets the number of columns in each layer of row-column structured tabular data for three independent variables. |
| Number of Structured Data Planes | Appears when the independent domain of the parent table field contains three variables.Sets the number of layers of row-column structured tabular data. |
| Create Spatial Map | Appears when the independent domain of the parent table field contains two variables.Select to import structured tabular data as a parametric plane. If you select the check box and the structured data cannot be imported as a parametric plane, the software issues an error message. To import the tabular data without converting it to parametric space, clear the check box. |
