Set displacements relative to a node

When you set the color display of a post view to contour plot, you can offset the displacement value in displacement vector results with respect to a reference node location.

Results offset by the value of Node 160

1. Choose Results tab→Post View group→Set Result .

2. In the Displacement Offset group, select the Reference Node check box.

3. From the Method list, select a method for specifying a reference node:To select a node directly from the model, select Pick from Model. To enter a node number, select By Node ID.If you select this option, type a node number in the Node box and click Apply ID String .

4. Click OK.
