Select a candidate DOF set from nodes

This example shows how to select all the mesh nodes on your model to include all their translational DOFs in the candidate DOF set for sensor selection. You can use the same procedure to define a required DOF set for sensor selection or sensor and candidate DOF sets for exciter selection.

1. Choose Correlation tab→Pre-Test Planning group→Edit Candidate DOF for Sensors .

2. In the Select Nodes group, click Select Node .

3. Drag a selection box around your model until all the nodes are selected.You can also select individual nodes or multiple nodes in an area of the model. To limit node selection, select an option such as Related Nodes from the Method list on the Top Border bar.

4. Click OK.
