Graph nodal force reports across multiple iterations

Output the graphs

  1. Set up the nodal force report for results that contain multiple iterations of time or frequency.

  2. In the Nodal Force Report dialog box, set Create Output to Graph Across Iterations and click OK.

  3. In the Graph Name Prefix box, type a prefix to use to identify the graphs.

  4. Select the Force and Moment check boxes to display graphs of force, moment, or both.

  5. Click OK.The software creates graphs for each output load you selected. It stores them in the Post Processing Navigator in the Graphs node of the active solution results. Each graph name begins with the prefix you specified.

Plot the graphs

  1. In the Post Processing Navigator, expand the Graphs node under the solution results.

  2. Right-click a graph created from a nodal force report and choose Plot.

  3. If the Viewport dialog bar appears:To display the graph in the main graphics window or a particular viewport, click Select Viewport by Cursor and click the main graphics window or viewport. To display the graph in a separate graph window, click Create New Window .
