Define a nodal pressure normal to 2D elements or 3D faces (Simcenter Samcef)
Choose Home tab→Loads and Conditions group→Nodal Pressure .
In the Nodal Pressure dialog box, from the Type list, select Normal Pressure on 2D or 3D Element Corner Nodes, or Corner Node ID Table-Normal Pressure.
In the Model Objects group, click Select Object and select the geometry or FE entity to which the pressure will be applied.
If you select the Normal Pressure on 2D or 3D Element Corner Nodes type, in the Magnitude group, define the pressure magnitude in one of these ways:Select Expression to use a constant value or expression to define the magnitude. Select Field to define a pressure magnitude that varies with time.
If you select the Corner Node ID Table-Normal Pressure type, do the following:In the Magnitude group, define the pressure magnitude in one of these ways:Select Expression to use a constant value or expression to define the magnitude. Select Field to define a pressure magnitude that varies with time. In the Scaling ID Table group, define a Corner Node ID Table field to set the nodal factors that will scale the pressure. For information on setting a Corner Node ID Table, see Create loads with node ID or corner node ID tables (Simcenter Samcef).
Click OK.The load is applied to the model.
