Residual Vectors dialog box (Nastran)

This modeling object lets you control the output of residual vectors and corresponds to the RESVEC case control command.

Note:

Simcenter Nastran only outputs shell thickness results for large strain analyses (PARAM, LGSTRN, 1). To set this parameter in Pre/Post, select the Large Strains (LGSTRN) check box on the Parameters page of the Solution dialog box.

Modeling Object
Name Specifies the name of the modeling object.
Label Specifies a unique numerical identifier for the modeling object.
Properties
Description Lets you enter a brief description. Click to open a text editor where you can enter a longer description.
Applied Loads Controls the calculation of residual vectors for applied loads.APPLOAD Computes residual vectors for applied loads.NOAPPLDoes not compute residual vectors for applied loads.
Degrees of Freedom Controls the calculation of residual vectors for degrees of freedom included in the RVDOF and RVDOF1 bulk data entries.RVDOF Computes residual vectors for these degrees of freedom.NORVDODoes not compute residual vectors for these degrees of freedom.
