Common options for Acoustic Output Requests and Vibro-Acoustic Output Requests

Modeling Object
Name Defines the name of the modeling object.
Label Specifies a unique numerical identifier for the modeling object.
Properties
Description Enter a brief description or click to open a text editor where you can enter a longer description.
Preview Opens an information window where you can examine all current output requests and their options.
Enable All Selects all output requests.
Disable All Clears all output requests.
Output request options
Sorting Specifies the case control command option that requests the format of printed output.SORT1Requests the output of results as a tabular listing of the selected output for each node in each subcase.SORT2Requests the output of results as a tabular listing of the subcases for each selected output option.DefaultChooses the default option for your analysis type. For example, SORT1 is the default in static analysis, while SORT2 is the default in transient response analysis.
Output Medium Specifies the case control command option that requests the output destination for the results.PRINTRequests the output of results to the printer.PUNCHRequests the output of results to the .pch (ASCII format) file.PRINT,PUNCHRequests the output of results to the printer and the .pch (ASCII format) file.PLOTReports the output of results to the .op2 file.See Simcenter Nastran Output Files in the Simcenter Nastran User's Guide for more information.
Data Format Specifies the case control command option that requests the format of complex output.REALRequests the real and imaginary output in rectangular format.IMAGFor most solutions, IMAG = REAL.PHASERequests the magnitude and phase output in polar format.Note: See case control command remarks in the Simcenter Nastran Quick Reference Guide to check if your solution supports IMAG and PHASE.
Frequencies Frequencies for ContributionsSpecifies at which frequencies to calculate structural node (grid) and pressure (on fluid nodes or microphone nodes) contributions to output responses.DEFAULTDo not write such case control card.ALLCalculates structural nodes and microphone nodes contributions at all frequencies.Specify FrequenciesCalculates structural nodes and microphone nodes contributions at specify frequencies.PEAKOUTCalculates structural nodes and microphone nodes contributions at peak frequencies output.Note: Peakout contribution supports for structural node, fluid (microphone) nodes, Grid, Modal and Panel contributions for the output requests.
Entity Selection Depending on the individual case control command, specifies options to control the location at which the software outputs results.ALLSelects all entities.GroupIf you choose Group, select the appropriate node or element set.NONELets you turn this output request off; useful for controlling output requests across subcases.Note: For Grid, Modal, and Panel Contribution case control commands in the Output Requests dialog box, you can select the following options for a response contribution set. The response contribution set produces output that relates the response at specified locations at each excitation frequency to nodes (grids) in structural panels, structural or fluid modes, or structural panels:SpecifyLets you create or select a response contribution set.NONELets you turn this output request off; useful for controlling output requests across subcases.
Enforced Motion Output Specifies the case control command option that requests the format of velocity results.ABSRequests absolute velocity output.RELRequests output relative to the enforced motion output.DefaultChooses the default format option for velocity results.Note: See the case control command description in the Simcenter Nastran Quick Reference Guide to determine the default value.

Enable ACINTENSITY Request Specifies the ACINTENSITY case control command to request acoustic intensity output.
Acoustic Particle Velocity
Enable ACVELOCITY Request Specifies the ACVELOCITY case control command to request microphone particle velocity output.
Acoustic Power
Enable ACPOWER Request Specifies the ACPOWER case control command to request acoustic power output.
Compute Acoustic Power on Automatically Matched Layer Radiation Surfaces Sets the AMLREG option on the ACPOWER case control command to ALL.
Element Surfaces for Acoustic Power Specifies options to control the location at which the software outputs results.GroupIf you choose Group, select the appropriate 2D microphone element set.NONEDoes not select any element set.
Acoustic Pressure
Enable PRESSURE Request Specifies the PRESSURE case control command to request pressure output (on fluid nodes or microphone nodes).
Acoustic Transmission Loss
Enable INPOWER Request Specifies the INPOWER case control command to request acoustic incident power output.EntityLets you select:Acoustic Free-FacesRequests the calculation of incident power at specific acoustic free faces.Microphone GroupsRequests the calculation of incident power at specific 2D microphone elements.
Enable TRPOWER Request Specifies the TRPOWER case control command to request transmitted power output.EntityLets you select:Automatically Matched Layer RegionsRequests the calculation of transmitted power for all or specific automatically matched layer regions.Microphone GroupsRequests the calculation of transmitted power at specific 2D microphone elements.
Enable TRLOSS Request Specifies the TRLOSS case control command to request transmission loss output.
Cross-Power Spectral Density/Cross-Correlation Function
Enable RCROSS Request Specifies the RCROSS case control command to request computation and output of cross-power spectral density and cross-correlation functions.
Random Functions Requests the calculation of specific random functions.PSDFRequests the calculation of the cross-power spectral density function.CORFRequests the calculation of the cross-correlation function.RALLRequests PSDF and CORF.
Modal Contribution
Enable Modal Contribution Specifies the MODCON case control command to request output of structural modes, fluid (acoustic) modes, frequencies, and pressure modes on microphones in contribution analyses.

Equivalent Radiated Power
Enable ERP Request Specifies the ERP case control command to request calculation and output of equivalent radiated power for selected panels and their shell elements.
Scaling Coefficient (rho*c) Specifies the coefficient used to scale the equivalent radiated power.
Output by Element Specifies the output of equivalent radiated power by element for elements that comprise the selected panels.YESRequests the output of equivalent radiated power by element.NODoes not request the output of equivalent radiated power by element.
Frequencies for Equivalent Radiated PowerSpecifies at which frequencies to calculate equivalent radiated power.ALLCalculates equivalent radiated power at all frequencies.SpecifyCalculates equivalent radiated power at specific frequencies.

Grid Contribution
Enable GRDCON Request Specifies the GRDCON case control command to request output of structural node (grid) contributions to the acoustic response.
Output Terms Specifies the output of node contributions in terms.ABS (Default)Outputs acoustic node contributions in absolute terms.NORMOutputs acoustic node contributions in normalized terms. BOTHOutputs acoustic node contributions in both absolute and normalized terms.
Frequencies for ContributionsSpecifies at which frequencies to calculate structural node contributions.ALL (Default)Calculates node contributions at all frequencies.SpecifyCalculates node contributions at specific frequencies.
