Creating a specialist durability local definition
Use the Local Definition command to create a specialist durability local definition that you can use in a specialist durability solution process. You can define different analysis templates, simulation objects, and materials for specific locations of your model in a single solution process to:
Compare the results from different analysis setups.
Evaluate the fatigue performance resulting from a material change.
Focus on specific areas of the model, including selected spot and seam weld sets.
You can create as many local definitions as you want in the same solution process.
When you specify a local material for a local definition, you can plot its stress life or strain life material properties.
