Solution dialog box (Nastran), Executive Control page

The options on the Executive Control page in the Solution dialog box apply to all Nastran solutions unless otherwise specified.

Option	Description	Corresponding Nastran syntax
Geometry Check	Not available for Rotor Dynamics analysis solutions.Specifies the element quality threshold values used in Nastran's optional element quality checks.Default does not write the GEOMCHECK command to the Executive Control section of your Nastran input file. With Default, Nastran uses its default element quality thresholds to evaluate the elements at the time of the solve.NONE writes a GEOMCHECK NONE statement to the Executive Control section of your Nastran input file. If you select NONE, Nastran does not perform any of its optional element quality checks.User Defined lets you specify a Geometry Check Options modeling object that overrides specific quality values. See Specifying Nastran GEOMCHECK options for more information.	GEOMCHECK
Geometry Check Options	Appears when Geometry Check is set to **User Defined.**Not available for Rotor Dynamics analysis solutions.Specifies which geometry check options to use.Select an existing geometry check modeling object from the list or click Create Modeling Object to create a new one.Click Edit to edit the selected modeling object. Max Job Time	Sets the maximum CPU and input/output time for the solution.	TIME
User Defined Text	Specifies the comments or text from a file to include in the Executive Control section of your Nastran input file.For more information, see Customizing a Nastran input file with user defined text.You can select an existing user-defined text modeling object from the list or click Create Modeling Object to create a new one.Click Edit to edit the selected modeling object.	$ or INCLUDE
