Ignore CAD component mapping
When you first create an associative assembly FEM, the status of all CAD components is Ignored. This means that there is no mapped component FEM and the part is not considered in the analysis.
To remove the component FEM mapping and restore the CAD component status to Ignored, in the Simulation Navigator, right-click the mapped CAD component and choose Ignore.Use Ctrl-click to select multiple mapped CAD components.When you ignore component mapping:The mapping is deleted and the CAD components status reverts to Ignored.The mapped component FEM is removed from the assembly FEM structure.Any FEM connections that depend on the removed component are deleted.Before ignoring mapped componentAfter ignoring mapped component Assembly FEM Assembly FEM Loaded CAD assembly Loaded CAD assembly CAD component 1 (Mapped) CAD component 1 (Mapped) CAD component 2 (Mapped) CAD component 2 (Mapped) CAD component to ignore CAD component (Ignored) Component FEM 1 Component FEM 1 Component FEM 2 Component FEM 2 Component FEM 3 1D Collectors 1D Collectors RBE3 Collector RBE3 Collector Connection Collectors connection_recipe_1_mesh Connections connection_recipe_2_mesh Connection Collectors Connections connection_recipe_1 connection_recipe_2
Resolve label conflicts following any change to the assembly FEM structure or its component FEMs.
