Element Properties
Mass Lets you define the global mass. For more information, see the MASS parameters of the Samcef INE element definition.
Mass along X, Mass along Y, Mass along Z Lets you define the three masses in the element coordinate system. For more information, see the MX, MY, MZ parameters of the Samcef INE element definition.Note: In non-linear analyses, all the three MX, MY, MZ masses must be equals. For more information, see the MX, MY, MZ parameters of the Samcef Simcenter Samcef solver documentation
Center of Gravity, X-Offset, Center of Gravity, Y-Offset, Center of Gravity, Z-Offset Lets you define the center of gravity offsets in the element coordinate system. For more information, see the OFS, EXC parameters of the Samcef INE element definition.
Mass Moment of Inertia, Ixx, Mass Moment of Inertia, Iyy, Mass Moment of Inertia, Izz Lets you define the three mass moments of inertia in the element coordinate system. For more information, see the MIXX, MIYY, MIZZ parameters of the Samcef INE element definition.
Mass Product of Inertia, Iyx, Mass Product of Inertia, Izx, Mass Product of Inertia, Izy Lets you define the three mass products of inertia in the element coordinate system. For more information, see the MIXY, MIXZ, MIYZ parameters of the Samcef INE element definition.
CSYS Definition Lets you define the type of element coordinate systemOffsets as CoordinatesAll values, the masses, mass moments of inertia and mass products of inertia, are defined in the absolute coordinates system. In this case, the Center of Gravity values define the real position of the mass center of gravity in the model.User DefinedLets you define an element coordinate system centered on the mass node definition and in which the masses, mass moments of inertia, mass products of inertia, and the center of gravity values are defined. In this case, the Center of Gravity values are the offset values of the mass center of gravity from the mass node position.
CSYS Appears when the CSYS Definition list is set to User Defined.Lets you define the element coordinate system.
