Create a Fan Noise load and solution

This procedure will create a Fan Noise load and solution. You must have pre-computed CFD pressure data on a fan to available. You will follow these major steps:

  1. Import the CFD pressure data using Model and Load Pre-Processing.

  2. Map the CFD fan mesh to transient fan blade elements.

  3. Set the fan parameters and rotation axis.

  4. Convert the pressure data to fan blade force.

  5. Create an acoustic SOL 108 Direct Frequency Response solution.

  6. Create a Fan Noise load.

  7. Edit the solution to add Output Requests and Harmonics.

  8. Edit and Solve the Solution.
