Initial Temperature dialog box (Simcenter Samcef)

Type
Type Specifies fixed or varying temperatures.Initial Temperatures—Applies a temperature to the selected geometry or nodes.Node ID Table—Lets you use varying temperature values at the nodes identified in the node ID table. For each node in the node ID table, the temperature magnitude is multiplied by a scale factor.
Name
Name Sets the name that appears in the Simulation Navigator under the Simulation Objects Container node.
Description Sets the description.
Destination Folder
Simulation Objects Container Lets you specify the folder in the Simulation Navigator in which the load will be stored. The list includes the root container and existing folders that you created using the New Folder command.
Model Objects to assign temperature on
Group Reference Lets you use a group. For more information, see Group Reference options.
Select Object Lets you select the nodes. The type of objects you can select depends upon your selected solver.
Stacked Smart Selector Methods Opens the Smart Selector Methods dialog box where you can specify a progression of smart selection filters. For more information, see Smart Selector Methods dialog box.
Magnitude
Temperature****Distribution Type Sets the initial temperature values.Note: To take these initial temperatures into account during the solve, set Initial Temperature Definition (.ALGO ITH0) to CLT TIN. You can find this option in the Analysis page of the nonlinear solution.
Card Name Displays the name of the solver card this object will write to : .CLT TIN .
