Create/Edit Command dialog box

General options

Name
Command Name	Sets the name for the report command
Display name	Sets the name of the report item that appears in the Report node of the Simulation Navigator.
Description	Sets the description for the command that appears in the Information window.
Application
Controls the binding program for the report command:GatewayDefines the command at the global level (Gateway). All applications can use the command.Pre/PostPre/Post can use the command.Design SimulationDesign Simulation can use the command.
Program
Enter these options if the report command has an associated NX Open program.
Language	Specifies the language used to create the NX Open program.
Script File	Appears when you set Language toC#, Visual Basic, or Python.Specifies the supporting script file for the NX Open program.
The following options appear when you set Language to C++.
Library	Specifies the supporting library (.dll) for the NX Open program.
Function Name	Specifies the name of the function for the NX Open program.
The following options appear when you set Language to Java.
JAR File	Specifies the supporting JAR file for the NX Open program.
Class Name	Specifies the name of the class for the NX Open program.

User Input

Before Automation/After Automation
The User Input page defines required user input either before or after the command or associated NX Open program runs. The options in the Before Automation and After Automation groups are identical in how you specify the required user input.
Type	Sets the type of required user input to either Text or Image.
Name	Sets the name that appears in the Report node of the Simulation Navigator.
Description	Sets a description for the user input that appears in the Information window.
Add New User Input
	Creates new user input and activates the User Input page.
List	Displays the user input required for this command.

Arguments

	Lets you add an integer argument.
	Lets you add a string argument.
	Lets you add a double argument.
	Lets you add an enumeration argument.
	Deletes the selected argument.
Argument Properties
Set the argument properties for the selected argument.
IntegerLets you set the default and lower and upper bound values. StringLets you set the default value.DoubleLets you set the default and lower and upper bound values. EnumerationDouble-click to enter the values. Right-click to select the default value. Displays the default value.
