EigenModes to Be Used in Substructure Generation
Do Not Used Modes Extracted in Prior Frequency Step Appears for a Substructure Generation step. Controls whether to use none of the eigenmodes extracted from the preceding natural frequency step for use in a substructure generation analysis or specify the extracted modes to be used.Select the Do Not Used Modes Extracted in Prior Frequency Step check box to use none of the modes extracted in the prior frequency step. Clear the Do Not Used Modes Extracted in Prior Frequency Step check box to specify the modes to be extracted.
Specify EigenModes Appears when the Do Not Used Modes Extracted in Prior Frequency Step check box is cleared.Specifies a Select EigenModes modeling object. Select an existing modeling object from the list or click Create Modeling Object to create a new one.Click Edit to edit the selected modeling object. For more information, see Select EigenModes dialog box (Abaqus).
Check Quality of Generated Matrices
Request Matrix Check Appears for Matrix Generation and Substructure Generation steps. Checks the quality of the generated global stiffness and mass matrices. If the matrix quality check is requested, the software outputs the check results to the data (.dat) file. This option corresponds to the *MATRIX CHECK keyword. For information about how the matrix is checked, see *MATRIX CHECK in the Abaqus Keywords Reference Guide.
Origin of the Coordinate Frame Appears when the Request Matrix Check check box is selected. Lets you select a Node Selection modeling object to specify the node to be the origin of the matrix check coordinate frame.Select an existing modeling object from the list or click Create Modeling Object to create a new one.Click Edit to edit the selected modeling object. For more information, see Node Selection dialog box (Abaqus).
Flexible Body Generation
Generate Flexible Body Generates a flexible body from a substructure for use with external solvers, including Adams and AVL EXCITE and for use in a flexible body solution in Simcenter 3D Motion.
Flexible Body Type Appears when the Generate Flexible Body check box is selected.Specifies the type of flexible body to generate. Select Generic to generate a generic flexible body that a post-processing software can convert to Adams, SIMPACK, or EXCITE.
