Random base excitation output files
When you solve a random base excitation (RBE) event, the following output files are written in the working folder.
Stores the input information for the random base excitation solver. Before you launch the solver from a command line, you can modify the input XML file with a text editor to change the settings.
Stores RBE solution messages, warnings and errors. You should always review the log file after performing a solution.
Stores a summary of the random base excitation event settings and contains a table listing all output requests in an easy to read format.
Stores geometry and the most requested results in SORT1 and SORT2 formats. This is the master results file and it is always written unless an error occurs.
Stores additional results. This is the companion results file that contains magnitudes (displacements, velocities, accelerations), principal stresses and strains, and margins of safety, which cannot be written to a Nastran binary file. It is automatically loaded with the OP2 file.
Contains commands to execute the RBE solver from a command line. This file is generated when you use the Solver Batch File right-click command on the random base excitation node. For more information, see Running a random base excitation event from a command line.
Text output results files
Store requested results in text format when you set the Text Output customer default on the Simulation→Pre/Post→Simcenter 3D Response Dynamics→Random Base Excitation tab in the Customer Defaults dialog box. Each file contains one type of result.FileResults**
