Displaying suppressed edges in polygon geometry

Use the Show Suppressed Edges command to temporarily display the edges that the software has removed from polygon geometry either because of automatic abstraction processes or from manual abstraction changes from commands such as Merge Face or Collapse Edge. You can display:

  • All removed edges.

  • Edges that were removed either automatically or manually.

The software uses colors to differentiate edges that were removed automatically from edges that were removed manually.

  • Yellow indicates edges that were removed automatically.

  • Red indicates edges that were removed manually.

Automatically (yellow) and manually (red) removed edges displayed on a meshed part. Automatically (yellow) and manually (red) removed edges displayed on the polygon geometry.

Note:

You can use the Reset command to restore abstracted polygon geometry to its original state. For more information, see Restoring abstracted polygon geometry.
