Pressure and nodal pressure loads (Simcenter Samcef)

You can define the magnitude of a Pressure or a Nodal Pressure load as a constant value, expression, spatial field, or a field that defines how pressure load varies with time.

Types of pressure

Type of pressure Corresponding Simcenter Samcef input file entry
Normal pressure on 2D elements or 3D element faces****Normal on 2D Elements .CLM PRESS ELEMENT - V -
On Beams .CLM LFX/LFY/LFZ ELEMENT - V -
Components .CLM SFX/SFY/SFZ ELEMENT - V -

Types of nodal pressure
