Harmonics to Constrain/Fix dialog box

Use this dialog box to create the Harmonics to Constrain (SOL 402) or Harmonics to Fix (SOL 414) modeling object to remove the harmonic numbers that you do not want to evaluate for specific types of subcase. When you assign this modeling object to a subcase type, you must assign it to all other subcases of that type in the solution. This ensures that all subcase types request the same harmonic numbers.

Modeling Object
Name Sets the name of the Harmonics to Constrain modeling object. This name appears in the Modeling Objects Manager dialog box and in the Fourier Harmonics to Constrain list in the Solution dialog box.
Label Sets the value that is assigned as the ID for this modeling object. The label must be a unique integer.
Properties
Description Sets a description for this modeling object.Click Description to open the Description dialog box where you can more easily enter a longer description
The following options appear for SOL 402 Multi-Step Nonlinear Kinematics.
For Normal, Cyclic and Complex Modes Subcases Specifies the Harmonics Set modeling object, which represents the set of harmonics that you want to constrain for normal, cyclic, and complex modes subcases.Select a modeling object from the list, or click Create Modeling Object to open the Harmonics Set dialog box, where you can create a new modeling object.
For Nonlinear and Preload Subcases Specifies the Harmonics Set modeling object, which represents the set of harmonics that you want to constrain for nonlinear and preload subcases.Select a modeling object from the list, or click Create Modeling Object to open the Harmonics Set dialog box, where you can create a new modeling object.
The following options appear for SOL 414 (Rotor Dynamics analysis).
Linear Static Specifies the Harmonics Set modeling object, which represents the set of harmonics that you want to constrain for linear static subcases.Select a modeling object from the list, or click Create Modeling Object to open the Harmonics Set dialog box, where you can create a new modeling object.
Frequency Specifies the Harmonics Set modeling object, which represents the set of harmonics that you want to constrain for complex modal and frequency response subcases.Select a modeling object from the list, or click Create Modeling Object to open the Harmonics Set dialog box, where you can create a new modeling object.
Transient Specifies the Harmonics Set modeling object, which represents the set of harmonics that you want to constrain for transient subcases.Select a modeling object from the list, or click Create Modeling Object to open the Harmonics Set dialog box, where you can create a new modeling object.
