Frequency Response Functions dialog box

Type
Direct Stiffness (F/x) Lets you set how the FRF data is stored in the input file. You can select from the following:Force / DisplacementForce / VelocityForce / Acceleration
Inverse Stiffness (x/F) Lets you set how the FRF data is stored in the input file. You can select from the following:Displacement / ForceVelocity / ForceAcceleration / Force
Data Source
File Type a path and file name or Browse to the file location. Data sources can be:Simcenter Testlab file (.lms)Simcenter Nastran Results file (.op2)
Options
Hierarchy Level for Subcase Lists the available subcases in the Data Source.UnlimitedSelects all subcases in the Data Source.Subcase numberDisplays the subcase number(s).
Data
Refresh Populates the data from the selected input file to the fields in the data table, or scans the input file for newly added data and refreshes the fields. Caution: Depending on the amount of data, it can take a significant amount of time to load. Therefore, the software does not automatically load the data upon selection of the input file.
Physical Quantity Lists the data input quantity, based on the Data Source contents. For Direct Stiffness (F/x):Force / DisplacementForce / VelocityForce / AccelerationFor Inverse Stiffness (x/F):Displacement / ForceVelocity / ForceAcceleration / Force
Subcase Lists available subcases. You select the subcase to apply to the solution.
Scaling Factor
Real Lets you define the scale factor for the Real part of the FRF data.
Imaginary Lets you define the scale factor for the Imaginary part of the FRF data.
Singular Value Decomposition
Singular Value Filter Available when you the Type is set to Inverse Stiffness (x/F).Relative ThresholdLets you apply a relative tolerance percentage to reduce the noise induced by overdetermining data from FRFs. This produces a more accurate substructure characterization.Number of Singular ValuesLets you specify the number of singular values to be retained in the solution.
Relative Threshold for Singular Values % Available when you select Inverse Stiffness (x/F) as the Type.Lets you set the Single Value Decomposition. You apply a Relative Threshold for Singular Values % relative tolerance percentage to reduce the noise induced by overdetermining data from FRFs. This produces a more accurate substructure characterization.
