Create a Simple Radiation to Environment constraint

  1. With a Simulation file active, create a solution with the analysis type set to either Thermal or Coupled Thermal-Flow.

  2. Choose Home tab→Loads and Conditions group→Simple Radiation to Environment .

  3. In the Simple Radiation to Environment dialog box, click Select Object and select the model geometry that radiates. See Selecting geometry or elements for defining a Simple Radiation to Environment constraint for the supported geometry and mesh configurations.

  4. From the Type list, select the method to define the emissivity for the radiating surfaces and provide the value.

  5. From the Temperature list, select the method of defining the temperature.
