Generate a solution from a nodal force report

After you set up nodal force report, you can output the results as a solution.

1. Set up a nodal force report.

2. In the Nodal Force Report dialog box, set Create Output to Create Solution and click OK.

3. In the Create Solution from Nodal Force Report dialog box, type a name for the solution.

4. Specify the subcases from which to capture the results:To select a single subcase, from the Subcase Selection list, select the subcase.To capture loads from all subcases, from the Subcase Selection list, select All.The subcase must be included in the nodal force report to be available for selection.

5. Specify the loads to capture from the results:To create table fields of force loads, select the Force check box.To create table fields of moment loads, select the Moment check box.

6. Click OK. The new solution appears in the Simulation Navigator under the Simulation file. The fields appear in the Simulation Navigator in the Fields container, and the loads appear in the Load Container.

7. Continue to create nodal force reports, or click Close to close the Nodal Force Report dialog box.
