Add UMAT property values to MatML Library material definitions (site MatML Library owner)

1. Choose Home tab→Properties group→More→Manage Library Materials .

2. From the Material List, select Library Materials.

3. In the Libraries group, select the Site MatML Library check box or User MatML Library check box, whichever contains your custom materials.

4. In the Materials group, select a custom material that contains a UMAT material model.

5. Right-click the selected material and choose Edit Library Material(s).

6. Click the User Models - Simcenter Nastran page.

7. From the Model Type list, select a UMAT material model.

8. (Optional), Modify the material model property values.

9. Click OK to close the Material Library Manager dialog box..

The UMAT material model is now available for your users in the materials dialog boxes.

Note:

If your users load a material with the Load Library Material command in the Material Library Manager dialog box before you add the UMAT property values, the UMAT material model is not visible when users attempt to configure the properties with the Configure Library Material command.

To view the UMAT material model, instruct your users to click the Manage Materials command, and in the Manage Materials dialog box, right-click a local material and choose Update Material.
