Surface Flux (Simcenter Samcef)
With the Surface Flux load, you can apply heat per unit area to 3D elements faces, 2D elements, edges of 2D elements, or 1D elements. The heat can be time and/or temperature dependent. You can also define a spatially distributed heat.
Where do I find it?
To define the surface flux, do one of the following:
In the Simulation Navigator, right-click Load Container→New Load→Surface Flux.
In the Simulation Navigator under a solution, right-click Loads→New Load→Surface Flux.
Choose Home tab→Loads and Conditions group→Surface Flux .
Select geometry. Right-click and choose Create Load→Surface Flux.
