Random Fatigue dialog box
| Option | Description |
|---|---|
| Name | Sets the name of the random fatigue durability object. The durability object name is displayed in the event dialog boxes. |
| Random Fatigue Settings | |
| Random Event Duration | Sets the duration of the random event in seconds. |
| Method | Specifies the method used to compute the random event results.**Narrow Band (Miles)**Computes the expected value of damage and fatigue life for a model which is excited with a random narrow bandwidth noise that has one dominant resonance frequency. The results from the narrow-band analysis are more conservative than those from wide-band analysis.**Wide Band (Dirlik)**Computes the expected value of damage and fatigue life for a model which is excited with a random wide bandwidth noise. Wide-band analysis results generally correlate better with experiments. |
| Fatigue Life Output | |
| Event Damage | Requests fatigue damage results at each element of free faces for the event. |
| Event Life | Requests fatigue life results at each element of free faces for the event. The results are expressed in cycles. |
