| Description | Sets the description. |
| Destination Folder | |
| Simulation Objects Container | Lets you specify the folder in the Simulation Navigator in which the fluid network definition will be stored. The list includes the root container and existing folders that you created using the New Folder command. |
| Fluid Mesh | |
| Group Reference | Lets you use a group of 1D Fluid Flow elements to specify the fluid line. For more information, see Group Reference options. |
| Select Object | Lets you select the geometry or 1D Fluid Flow elements to specify the fluid line. |
| Stacked Smart Selector Methods | Opens the Smart Selector Methods dialog box where you can specify a progression of smart selection filters. For more information, see Smart Selector Methods dialog box. |
| Excluded | Lets you remove individual entities from within the selected object. |
| Conductive Mesh | |
| Group Reference | Lets you use a group to specify the conductive mesh. For more information, see Group Reference options. |
| Select Object | Lets you select the geometry or FE entities that define the conductive mesh. |
| Stacked Smart Selector Methods | Opens the Smart Selector Methods dialog box where you can specify a progression of smart selection filters. For more information, see Smart Selector Methods dialog box. |
| Excluded | Lets you remove individual entities from within the selected object. |
| Parameters | |
| Screen Algorithm (ECRAN) | Select this check box to activate the screen algorithm. |
| Screen Mesh | |
| Available when the Screen Algorithm (ECRAN) check box is selected. | |
| Group Reference | Lets you use a group to specify the screen mesh.Select the group from the list, or click New Group. |
| Select Object | Lets you select the geometry or FE entities that define the screen mesh. |
| Stacked Smart Selector Methods | Opens the Smart Selector Methods dialog box where you can specify a progression of smart selection filters. For more information, see Smart Selector Methods dialog box. |
| Excluded | Lets you remove individual entities from within the selected object. |
| Boundary Conditions | |
| Type | Lets you select the type of boundary convection condition between the fluid mesh and the surrounding conductive mesh.Explicit Convection CoefficientThe convection coefficient is explicitly defined.Empirical Correlation FormulasThe convection condition is defined with experimental formulas.**AMESim model (Temperature/Power)**The fluid elements and the convection condition are modeled with a Simcenter Amesim model. |
| Convection Coefficient (CONV) | Available when Type is set to Explicit Convection Coefficient.Lets you specified the convection coefficient of the convection boundary condition. |
| Numbers base on (.AEL FLCO) | Available when Type is set to Empirical Correlation Formulas.Lets you choose between the Hydraulic Diameter (Duct Flow) or the Distance (Surface Flow) option of the empirical correlation formulas. |
| Nusselt Number (NUSS) | Available when Type is set to Empirical Correlation Formulas.Lets you specify the Nusselt number. |
| Exponent (EXPO) | Available when Type is set to Empirical Correlation Formulas.Lets you specify the exponent of the law. |
| dll (ADLL) | Available when Type is set to AMESim model (Temperature/Power).Lets you specify the Amesim .dll to use. |
| Sample Time (TSAMPL) | Available when Type is set to AMESim model (Temperature/Power).Lets you specify the DIGI sample timestep frequency.Note: You choose this timestep independently of the Amesim and Samcef computation timesteps. |
| .MCE DIGI Position | Available when Type is set to AMESim model (Temperature/Power).Lets you specify the position of the Samcef .MCE DIGI digital control box that will communicate with the Amesim model. |
