Durability > Static events
Create a result path excitation
To create a result path excitation, you must select Result Path from the Excitation Type list in the Static Durability Event dialog box while you create a static event.
This example shows how to obtain the loading excitation shown in the following graphic.
In the Simulation Navigator , right-click the static durability event node and choose New Excitation.
From the Load Case list, select Subcase 1.
Click Add Load Case .
From the Load Case list, select Subcase 2.
Click Add Load Case .
In the Result Path table, in the Subcase 2 row, double-click the cell in the Scale column.
Change the value from 1 to -2.
Follow the same process to add the following subcases and scale factor values.Load Case nameScale factor valueSubcase 13Subcase 23Subcase 1-2Subcase 21
Click OK.
You get a result path node under the static event node in the Simulation Navigator.
