Modeling objects for specific results (Simcenter Samcef)

In addition to the Output Requests that you can set in Simcenter Samcef solutions to request the computation of structural or thermal results, you can also request specific results for elements or simulation objects. You define these results in dedicated modeling objects.

You can request the following results.

Rigid body link specific results

Time history graph results:

• Total Effort through the Rigid Link (Simcenter Samcef result code 3524).

• Total Moment through the Rigid Link (Simcenter Samcef result code 3525).

Bush element specific results

Structural results and time history graph results:

• Effort along the 3 element axes (Simcenter Samcef result codes 3524, 9524).

• Torque along the 3 element axes (Simcenter Samcef result codes 3525, 9525).

• Relative Displacement along the 3 element axes (Simcenter Samcef result codes 3530, 9530).

• Relative Rotation along the 3 element axes (Simcenter Samcef result codes 3531, 9531).

• Scalar Damage (Simcenter Samcef result codes 1356 9356).

Spring Damper specific results

• Efforts in the Element (Simcenter Samcef result code 9524).

Rigid (RIGA) element specific results

Structural results and time history graph results:

• Effort along the 3 element axes (Simcenter Samcef result codes 3524, 9524).

• Torque along the 3 element axes (Simcenter Samcef result codes 3525, 9525).

Bolt load specific results

Time history graph results:

• Axial Force (Simcenter Samcef result code 9524 COMP 1).

• Shear Force (Simcenter Samcef result code 9524 COMP 2).

• Relative Displacement (Simcenter Samcef result code 9530 COMP 1).

Macro Element (Contact) specific results

Transfer results:

In a structural analysis, you can request the following specific gluing results:

In a thermal analysis, you can request the following specific gluing results:

• Transfer results:Conduction power (Simcenter Samcef special result code 917 COMP 5).Resultant radiation power (Simcenter Samcef special result code 917 COMP 8).Total resultant power (Simcenter Samcef special result code 917 COMP 14).

• Average results:Average Temperature (Surface Weighting) of the Slave Node Side (Simcenter Samcef special result code 917 COMP 30).Average Temperature (Surface Weighting) of the Master Node (Simcenter Samcef special result code 917 COMP 31).

Fluid Pressure Penetration specific results

• Fluid pressure (Simcenter Samcef result code 1322).

Except for the bush element, the software creates a Simcenter Samcef macro element that references these results.
