Viscoplastic properties in the Material dialog box (Simcenter Samcef)

Property View
From the Property View of an Isotropic material, select the Samcef Isotropic Structure type to add viscoplastic properties to a Samcef isotropic material. From the Property View of an Orthotropic material, select the Samcef Orthotropic Structure type to add viscoplastic properties to a Samcef orthotropic material. From the Property View of an Anisotropic material, select the Samcef Anisotropic Structure type to add viscoplastic properties to a Samcef anisotropic material.
Viscoplasticity page
Viscoplasticity Type Lets you select the viscoplastic model. You can choose between a Lemaitre or a Prager law.

The following tables describe the coefficients and parameters of the Lemaitre and Prager laws.

The following options appear when you select Lemaitre from the Viscoplasticity Type list
Creep parameters
Creep Parameter (EXPN) Lets you define the n exponent of the law.You can define a temperature dependent field. For more information see the EXPN parameter in the Samcef materials book.
Creep Parameter (BIGK) Lets you define the K resistance factor. You can define a temperature dependent field. For more information see the BIGK parameter in the Samcef materials book.
Hardening parameter
Isotropic Hardening (EXPM) Lets you define the m exponent. You can define a temperature dependent field. For more information see the EXPM parameter in the Samcef materials book.
Damage parameters
Damage Parameter (COEN) Lets you define the 1/S damage coefficient. You can define a temperature dependent field. For more information see the COEN parameter in the Samcef materials book.
Damage Parameter (EXEN) Lets you define them coefficient. You can define a temperature dependent field. For more information see the EXEN parameter in the Samcef materials book.
Damage Parameter (PDEN) Lets you define the elim value. You can define a temperature dependent field. For more information see the PDEN parameter in the Samcef materials book.
Damage Parameter (DDEN) Lets you define the dmax value. You can define a temperature dependent field. For more information see the DDEN parameter in the Samcef materials book.
The following properties appear when you select Prager from the Viscoplasticity Type list
Creep Parameter (LITK) Lets you define the k factor. You can define a temperature dependent field. For more information see the LITK parameter in the Samcef materials book.
Hardening parameter
Kinematic Hardening (COCA) Lets you define the ca1 coefficient. You can define a temperature dependent field. For more information see the COCA parameter in the Samcef materials book.
Damage parameters
Damage Parameter (COEN) Lets you define the 1/S damage coefficient. You can define a temperature dependent field. For more information see the COEN parameter in the Samcef materials book.
