Define a bivariate fluid material property using a generic entity (legacy)

Note:

Use this method if you want to define a bivariate thermal expansion coefficient. For other fluid material properties, you can define their dependency on temperature and pressure in the Material dialog box. For more information, see Bivariate fluid material properties.

  1. Specify a CSV file that contains the materials and the bivariate fluid properties you want for the listed materials.

  2. Choose Home tab→Loads and Conditions group→Advanced Controls .

  3. In the Advanced Controls dialog box, select Generic Entity from the Type list.

  4. Under the Type group, set Entity Type to Generic.

  5. On the Text Options page, enter FLUID MATERIAL PROPERTY in the Type box.

  6. In the Subtype box, enter the name of the CSV file with the relative or hard-coded path if your file is not in the run directory.

  7. Click OK.
