CAE Note Preferences dialog box

To override any of these settings when you create or edit a note, click Settings in the Note dialog box.

Alignment
Text Justification	Specifies the default horizontal alignment of the lines of text in a note.
Text Parameters
Color	Displays the Color dialog box so that you can specify the default color of the text.
Font	Specifies the default font to use for the text.Windows fonts are preceded by . NX/Simcenter 3D fonts are preceded by . Only NX/Simcenter 3D fonts support the Bold and Italic attributes in the Note dialog box.Depending on the selected font, you might also be able to specify the weight or width of the font.
Height	Sets the default height of the text in inches or millimeters, depending on the unit of measure for the part.If the Lock Size and Position check box is selected in the Display page, the text always appears the same height, even when you zoom in and out.
Font Gap Factor	Sets the default spacing between characters as a factor of the standard spacing for the selected font.
Text Aspect Ratio	Sets the default width of the text characters as a factor of the height.
Line Gap Factor	Sets the distance between the lines of text as a factor of the standard spacing for the selected font.
Lettering Angle	Sets the angle of the text (in degrees) relative to its baseline.

Orientation
Display Parallel to Screen	Displays all new notes facing you rather than in a specific plane.When a note is parallel to the screen, you can always read it even when you rotate the model.
Lock Size and Position	Appears when the Display Parallel to Screen check box is selected.Displays all new notes in the same size and location on the screen even when you zoom in and out or move the model.
Background Fill
Enable	Fills the background of notes with the specified color.To modify the background fill color, click the color swatch and use the Object Color dialog box to select a different color.
