Rigid or flexible surface in classical Simcenter Samcef contacts
When you create a Edge-to-Surface Contact, a Surface-to-Surface Contact, or a Nodes-to-Surface Contact contacts in Simcenter Samcef, you can choose if the target region of the contact is Flexible (default) or Rigid.
You make this when you define the target region. For more information, see Region dialog box (Simcenter Samcef).
Note:
You can only make that choice for a target region meshed with 2D elements.
